When the Eric Paredes Save A Life Foundation put the word out for help in making a public service announcement about Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), an incredible group of teens responded to the call. From middle school to college-aged, they came from across the county to help us urge parents to Screen Your Teen. Some were, themselves, at risk for SCA, while others simply understood how important it is to educate people about this devastating syndrome that can occur instantly without symptoms or warning signs. We invite you to read about why our teens came and what they learned in the hope that it will inspire more people to take action by getting a simple EKG. See behind the scenes.
