This screening does not substitute for a regular on-going relationship with a primary care physician, who is attuned to your medical history and any changes in health status. No screening can identify 100% of the individuals at risk for a sudden cardiac event. We encourage you to continue to have yearly physicals, and discuss any concerns or changes in your heart health with your primary physician immediately. Use our cardiac risk assessment form to monitor warning signs, symptoms and risk factors of an underlying heart condition. International guidelines recommend a heart screening every two years through age 25.
IMPORTANT: Even though this is a free service to the community, it costs the EPSAL Foundation $25 per registered participant plus the commitment of 150 medical and nonmedical volunteers. We appreciate your attendance once you have registered.
